CDS is pleased to announce the opening of a new warehouse in Fairfield, New Jersey. The warehouse will primarily supply the company’s New York and New Jersey service territories with an anticipated $4m worth of parts and equipment inventory and will also serve as the new home of the company’s service department.
“The opening of our warehouse will allow us to deliver equipment to our clients in a more efficient, and effective manner, and provides us with better control of the customer experience,” says Giovanni Rutigliano, managing partner of CDS.
The 17,000 square foot facilty at 5B Stewart Place provides the room necessary to store critical parts, supplies, consumables required to get our clients up and running within our guaranteed 4 hour response time window. Previously, CDS had relied on third-party partners to store and deliver their products.
With their employees and customers in mind, CDS knew they wanted something close to the company’s headquarters, also in Fairfield. The company recently held a grand opening for the warehouse.
“We now have greater control of our fulfillment process to provide faster deliveries without the middleman, and our techs can get exactly what they need under one roof, not far from where they were before at our headquarters,” added Rutigliano.
Today, CDS has nine offices and about two-hundred employees across six states and the nation's capital. CDS anticipates the announcement of a second warehouse in Maryland for its Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania-based customers as well.
